Become A Volunteer

To become a volunteer at DEKAMER in rehabilitation, conservation and awareness studies, you can find detailed information at this site.

 

DEKAMER is located at one of the most beautiful beach in the world. Dalyan-Iztuzu Beach is one of the most important loggerhead (Caretta caretta) sea turtle nesting habitat in Turkey. You can volunteer at DEKAMER all year long and help protect sea turtles. As a volunteer, you can help us in treatment process of injured turtles. You can also join us in breeding season to protect sea turtle nests and collect scientific data.

If you are over 18 years old, physically fit and a good team player, please read detailed information given below and fill the application form.

Cost
(Volunteers are asked to contribute a sum which covers your accommodation and food. Volunteering fee is 200€ per month.)

How to get DEKAMER

You can choose international/national flights to Dalaman airport or you can travel to Ortaca by bus to get DEKAMER. To see details click here.
